Holocaust
Hitler’s Misguided Vision:
Create a “super race” of Aryan Germans through refining and highlighting the “glorious” German genes. Also, remove any aspects of society that is not deemed “German,” including certain people.
Create Lebensraum "living space" for the German people in which Germans can farm and earn a living. Meaning, Germans must relocate the Slavic peoples and Jews from the lands Europe.
Strategy:
1. Eugenics: The so-called “science” of refining the societal gene pool as to create a utopian-like society designed through orchestrating the procreation of human beings based on genetic considerations. Nazis believed their society is a “living organism” and can reach a more German, more perfect society through:
Compulsory Sterilization: Medical procedure to prevent life through procreation
-Done to people with sub superior genes
Marriage Restrictions: Preventing the marriage of people that could produce children with multiracial bloodlines.
-No German was to marry a Jewish person
Involuntary Euthanasia: Ending people’s lives due to reasons defined by those in charge.
-Blindness
-Deafness
-Mental Impairment
-Individuals such as these were euthanized in hospitals according to Nazi’s secret Action T4 program.
Thousands died through this program.

2. The "Undesirables" and "The Jewish Question": In order to keep the German Soil free of any Un-Aryan blood, the Nazi Government took measures to remove their Jewish population from the German soil and the German acquired lands in Europe.
Germans sought solutions to the “Jewish Question":
1. Remove the Jews from the countryside to the larger cities
2. Encourage the Jewish populations to immigrate outside of Europe.
-One Half of all Jews in Germany immigrated out of Germany leaving everything behind.
-Many Jews immigrated to the United States
-Madagascar was proposed as a destination for all the remaining Jews but never happened.
3. Take all Jews in the cities and concentrate them into “ghettos.”
-Many people starved in these locations
4. In areas acquired in Europe, especially east of Berlin, a squad of Germans known as the Einsatzgruppen would seek out Jewish civilians and have them eliminated.
5. Final Solution: The relocation of Jews and "undesirables" to death camps designed solely for the killing of human beings.
